Iris Seminar - CPD

Have booked an Iris Seminar later November in Bournemouth to see a demonstration of accounts production software and tax return software. Apparently it lasts two hours and participants can take away the copies of accounts and returns produced on the demo. Thought it would also help towards CPD.
Has anyone done this one (I've been looking at the posts on tax days, open days etc - do tell me if it isn't recommendable!!
And does anyone have good experience of any similar informative events.

I went on one last year, and yes it was informative - however it made my mind up that it more than I needed (particularly as far as cost was concerned) at the moment.
I am using PTP which is brilliant - but they have been bought out by Iris :roll:
