Hi,

I am doing the practice Dec05 PCR exam question 1.5c and I am stuck! I cannot see in the osborne or BBP text book where the contribution statement is.

I don' think my teacher has gone over it and even though I have the answers I would like your help to learn it.

Could anyone tell me what book might help or any notes that they could send me.

    1.5 (c) Asks for the revised fault-free production of Exes in period 1.

    I assume you have identified whether labour hours or materials are the key constraint.

    So use the one that will allow the lower production of Exes, and then adjust the figure for the 4% faulty output. This is the extra fault-free Exes.
    Then add this on to the Budgeted Exes you found in 1.1

    Does that make sense?
