Re:Introduce yourself thread?
I personally am not a dunker but my mum dunks her toast into her tea  YUCK!!0 -
Re:Introduce yourself thread?
I'm a dunker. Cheese sandwiches dunked into coffee used to be a favourite when I was a kid.
I dunk Jaffa cakes. Messy but nice.0 -

That is nearly as bad as the Yanks dunking donuts. They are not for dunking.
Biscuits only are for dunking0 -
Re:Introduce yourself thread?
I'm feeling queasy now :? The dunking debris and runny eggs make me want to throw up!!!

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
It is sacriledge to dunk jaffas. They have to be treated royally and nibbled with care until only the orangy bit is left!!!
God.....heathens!!!!

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
It's either dunk them, or down them whole - either way is fine with me.

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Is that implying that you have a big gob and not a ladylike one?

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Jaffa cakes are a lot smaller than they used to be... :oops:0 -
Re:Introduce yourself thread?
So are wagon wheels...but I still can't get a whole one in my big gob

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Hey Mandy, are you still with us or have you dropped off? Is that a slight dormouse snore I can hear?0 -
Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Jaffa Cakes are a lot smaller, but you have to get the angle right.
It took me years to perfect it, but once achieved it's a skill I will never lose!

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
I'm still practising but not with wagon wheels, they give me a sugar rush and as a diabetic that is not good

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Mandy's had to go and get ready for the weekend's initiation tests.
She's on the rota for April which means she has to order the hot wax etc.
Funny thing is, since we 'went public' on what's involved, we haven't had many applications to join.

Re:Introduce yourself thread?
Helen, I cant believe you struggle to get a jaffa cake in your mouth! :shock:0 -

Because once your cake is eaten, you no longer have it. The act of eating your cake destroys it. (c.f. riding a bicycle) Once your cake is eaten, you can no longer flaunt your cake posession. At least, I think that's the point.
My grandmother used to say "you can't eat your cake and still have it", which is probably where I got that interpretation from.
I am a cake fan, especially with a nice cup of coffee- but never dunked. That's weird. Maybe for ginger nuts or other dry biscuits.
I believe chocolate-covered hobnobs to be a waste of perfectly good chocolate.
Jaffa cakes, however, I eat [edit] slowly and delicately, savouring each bite [/edit]
this post has been edited by the author, who got a little bit graphic with his Jaffa cake eating
