DFS - Section 2 Ratios & Report Writing

Has anyone got any tips or advice on answering this part of the paper. I failed this section on my mock so I'm really worried. :cry:

    One tip I learnt as a student would be to set out your report in the prescribed format. When calculating the relevant ratios, set them out as an appendix to the report (don't set them out in the main body of the report otherwise it becomes over-powering). Cross-reference the points in your report to the calculations in the appendix. It makes it more "user-friendly".

    :?: how much do u understand what the ratios mean.

    the key to this area is understanding the meaning of the ratios.

    Also state the obvious, weather its go up or down, if thats a good reflection on the company and the reasons why this may happen.
