Does anyone know, do we need to register to get our exam results by email? Or if we had them by email last year, will they automatically come by email again in February?

Re:Exam Results by email
If you paid online for your exams you are already registered to get your results on line. If you didnt pay for them online you will need to register, as each set of exams needs to be registered to receive the results by email, having them sent last year does not automatically get them sent this year. Hope this helps0 -
Re:Exam Results by email
I think once you register to receive the result by email it will automatically be for all your coming exams. I was about to re-register myself again online but going through the process I was told I'm already registered to receive my result by email so i presume you only have to register once.0 -
Re:Exam Results by email
I registered to receive my results by email in June. I entered everything correctly but my results never came so I just went on-line the next day to check.
I have registered again for the December exams so fingers crossed.
Did anyone else have the same problem?0 -
Re:Exam Results by email
Yes! I didn't receive my results for December 2005 by email so had to wait.

I didn't receive mine either time but apparently it comes through as bulk mail so you need to turn your spam guard either on or off so as the junk e-mails can get through.

Re:Exam Results by email
Just a quick clarification on this one:
If you registered at the June exams or in December 2005 to get your exam results by email, you won't need to register again this time as you'll already be on the system. If you're in _any_ doubt at all, log in to your MyAAT area, and click to get your results by email again. If you're already signed up, then it will remind you there, if not, it will add you to the system once you click to register.
As to the bulk email/spam issue, this is a problem we've faced several times before. One tip which we know should work for AOL users is to add the address that we send the results from to your address book. Then regardless of whether it looks "spammy" to your filters, it will let the email through because it's from someone you "know". Nearer to the results day we'll be publishing the address we're sending from on the site, so have a check in a few weeks' time and the info should be there for you. If you're on a .gov.uk address, it's probably worth passing this "from" address to your IT guys too to make an exception for it, as I know UK government filters can be pretty strict.
I'm not too au fait with providers like BTinternet and NTL, but I think even where you have a software firewall installed on your home PC, there should be a way of making an exception for the AAT address.
One good indicator is if your sign-up confirmation doesn't get through. Usually that means that your spam filters are set very high, and it's worth investigating whether you've still got the email in a junk folder, or whether your software/network supervisor can tell you if it's been blocked.
Otherwise, as you say, worth checking Spam folders on the day. We'll publish some more detailed help in a few weeks time.
Hope that helps!

Re:Exam Results by email
Hello,
Further to Julian's post, the email address from which December's results will be sent is aat.examresult@emc1.co.uk. Add this to your address book to prevent your filters identifying your results email as spam.
If you haven't registered to have your results emailed to you, log in to or register for MyAAT using the link on the right hand side of the homepage and click on 'Email me my exam results'.
Remember that to get your results - by email, from the website or through the post - your fees need to be paid in full by 26 January. You can check your account by logging into MyAAT and clicking on 'Pay an invoice'.
Thanks, and best of luck with your results.0 -
Re:Exam Results by email
I registered to receive my results by email but am currently signed off work. All being well I should be back in the office to receive them. If not is it possible to change to address I have my results sent to at the last minute? I won't know whether I can go back to work until the Thursday before results!
I cannot access my work email from home and as my email is on divert to a manager I don't really want the whole office knowing my results before I do!0 -

Re:Exam Results by email
I hope that when comes the result, mine will be sent directly to my inbox. I was trying to register yesterday but i was told that the e-mail ad i was using was already registered. This is because i registered to receive last year's plb result online. I thought that i would have to register anew because they probably didnt have my e mail in their database any more.
I am glad to know that i am among many students waiting to receive their results online. I am sure that you are looking forward to know the result of your hard work. I am!!
But most importantly i am glad because i will receive mine ahead of my colleagues back at school. This will put my mind at rest well before-hand before any formal announcement is made back at my college...
Thanks
