I am using Premier training for my Home study of the Technician level.

The books that they use are there own and they plan your whole year for you around your schedule.
They are much cheaper than all the others, For the Technician level it cost me £485 including all materials. if you have to fund it yourself they will allow you to pay it off over 4/5 months.

You can take as long as you want to complete it, they don't rush you or charge you extra if you go on into the 2nd year. You are assigned a tutor who you can contact personally if you have any problems and they are open late 2 night a week.

The devolved assesments can be taken at your work place. (if thay have agreed to the person who is supervising you) and the central exams are taken at the centre nearest to you. I live in Reading and had to go to Oxford to do my centrals.

The website is http://www.premiertraining.co.uk

hope this helps

Claire

    Hi

I used Premier Training for the Intermediate stage and although I found the staff very good, I found the books rather inadequate. The books aren't actually Premier's own, they buy NEC materials which they photocopie and bind themselves.

The book they provided for MFR was actually a general book-keeping text and was inadequate so I bought the BPP book for MFR which I found great.

For technician im using BPP for the central assessment units and FTC for the devolved assessment units.

Neil
