    How do you make fresh caesar dressing for salad. I mean I guess there is garlic and parmasan in it but what else? Mayo? Anyone got a recipe?

    I'd say egg yolk, olive oil, garlic, pepper, lemon juice and vinegar for the dressing.

    Chuck that over the lettuce and add in the cheese and some crutons?

    Yep, raw egg!! Apparently you can use tofu instead if you do it in a blender or something.

    I think the creaminess is something to do with the oil.

    Yup - you definitely have raw egg in Caesar salad - but you also do in mayo, choccy mousse and lots of other things that I can't think of at the moment. No probs as look as you are not too old, too young or up the duff :lol:
