Quickbooks VAT

Someone asked on here a few months ago about adjusting the VAT control account in Quickbooks. I think they'd put on historic transactions and filed everthing but there was still balance at the end or something. Well I think I've found a way to fix it, so if you want to tell me the problem again I'll let you know if this will work for you.
