Currently we run a payroll with about 100 employees on there, we used to use Sage Payroll and found it ok, but we changed to Tas Payroll and had nothing but trouble with it all year. I've been asked to look into other possible software, I'm going to a Sage update training to see if going back to Sage Payroll would be worth going back to. But can anyone else recommend a payroll package that is easy to use ? If anyone else can recommend a good package, I'd be grateful.

Have you looked at Pegasus Opera 11?

PTP also do payroll software. I'm not sure what it is like to use, but if their tax and accounts production software is anything to go by then it may be worth looking at.

Moneysoft also have payroll software - again not used this one but it has been recommended by others on the forum.

I've been evaluating the moneysoft payroll programme and have really enjoyed using it. The reporting features are great and I have recommended it to 2 clients, plus I will be buying my own copy for 07/08.

Check it out - trial downloads.
