It's that time of year again!
I have no idea what to buy my bloke - I'm hoping he'll be happy with a DVD and a CD he wants....!! Not very romantice though.
I can never really be bothered with it to be honest - I'd be upset if I didn't get a card and a little something, but I don't see the point in going to loads of effort. I certainly wouldn't go out for a meal either - it's not special as the places are always full of other couples doing the same thing! Plus they whack up the prices!
Tip for the singles though - get down the pub on Valentines Day! Anyone who is coupled up ain't going to be down the pub drinking (unless they're really mean to their partner!) so you'll find out who is single without having to do any work! :-)

Re:Valentines Day
I haven't bothered making that special effort since I spread rose petals down the stairs through the kithen through the dining room and onto the table where I sprinkled more in a heart shape and in the middle a nice ring :-)...
I was 18 then, i'm 22 now - we don't bother - just get a card and aftershave/perfume and that's it. Other things to buy.
OR the missus has succombed to the blokes desires and is in search for that illustrious third person! \0/phunkyphantom wrote:Tip for the singles though - get down the pub on Valentines Day! Re:Valentines Day
Maybe it's my age then or the fact that we've just got our first place together and we need to spend our money on that!
It's worth going to all that effort to propose though - I'd be seriously gutted if my man decided to just ask me whilst sat on the sofa or something! :-)
Ha ha ha!! :-) No seriously though - it works! I met a guy several years ago that way.0 -

Chris - save up for cosmetic surgery to cure that red face - then get a hair cut - and who knows what next year might bring.

My hubby will be abroad on Valentine's Day, so I will be stuck at home on my own - just call me Billy No Mates

We're not doing anything because we can't really afford
I'm sorta hoping he might propose... but I've been hoping that for nearly 2 years! Last Valentines he got me a bunch of roses. I could have killed him.
Aww J that's so romantic!0
