im just revising for the skills test next week and find the workings for overtime that bpp have in their course companion complicated way of getting to an easy answer. if i was not to do it this way but by my own workings yert arrive at the same answer does anyone think i would lose marks?? :roll:

    Hi Manda.

    As long as you show your workings to arrive at the correct figure, you won't lose marks.

    If you have error checked your own formula/method and it always arrives at the same correct answer, then fair enough. Sometimes they teach you the long winded ways so you can understand the theory behind the answer - especially for more complicated scenarios - rather than just being able to come up with the correct numbers!
