:( Hi is anyone else daunted by the prospect of doing the project. That is a real weak area for me and scares the hell out of me. I have done the headings and 200 words and have come to a halt. Just found our my project is being viewed by an assosor in 8th March.......... any suggestions or tips ???????????

    isn't this a technician level subject?

    I know we've been told that we'll be issued the unit10 project before the summer and it'll be due in January 08... ?

    In a nutshell, you will need to analyse an accounting system at your workplace or do the AAT case study.

    Look for the strengths and weaknesses in this system. You'll be able to spot these after doing Unit 10 coursework on internal controls and fraud.

    Then make recommendations to improve the system based on a "weakness" that you've found.

    For example computerising sales ledger may produce more accurate and faster invoicing for a small business. Maybe bank reconciliations aren't reviewed and followed up in a large business.
