I found 3 ways to read the blank email in Outlook.
1) Go to inbox, then click on Tools, then Options.
Then click on the Read tab, then the 4th option down is Read all messages in plain text. Tick the box next to this, click apply and then ok.
Then it takes you back to your inbox when you can double click on your email and the text should be displayed.
2) Open the email, the go to file and click on properties, this will open a small box, click on the Details tab, and then click on Message Source.
This will open a small notepad box, scroll down and this should also display the text.
3) Open the email and go to file and then save as, put in a chosen file name and then under that change file type to text files and then click ok.
You should then go to where it has saved it and you should be able to open it from there.
Hope this helps some of you, email me if you need more help.
