Project - help needed!

I've done the intro to my Unit 10 project (background, accounting and IT systems and accounting personnel) but can't think of any areas to actually base the project on!?

I work for a firm of accountants as an accounts assistant. Maybe someone in a similar position could guide me in the right direction?

    i've done my project on computerising the accounts presentation (my firm was very old fashioned). but just look at what area you think you could improve - such as a pro forma cash book for clients whos accounts are unorganised, or a way of improving the jobs coming in (tick list of whats come in and what still needs to come in). maybe speak to your boss/line manager what they think needs improving.

    I have a similar job to you and I did mine on redesigning a book keeping system for a client that we acquired. They had previously done their book keeping manually and I just designed some spreadsheets to record their transactions via excel. It meant they could email their records to me at end of year and I covered training etc by training them to use the system.

    Is there any way you could do something similar as it was quite an easy way to cover all the criteria?
