Right.......
I have a DVD with music concert footage on that I wish to be able to listen to on my iPod as mp3's.
So.......
How do I get the 'audio' parts off the DVD and on to my computer, and then how do I convert the format?
Any suggestions welcome!
Paul

Re:Computer / Music / DVD query
Go to my computer and right click on the CD icon, choose EXPLORE.
Hopefully there'll be 2 folders, one AUDIO_TS and one VIDEO_TS
Open the audio one and hopefully it will open in either windows media player or another 'music' player.
FILE > Save as > FILENAME.WMA (Windows media Audio)
Google -> WMA to MP3 converter
Download, install and convert.
If there's no folder called Audio and it's all integrated into one folder, google search for some sort of DVD Audio Ripper... there's some out there, I crossed a couple just a few nights ago.
Good luck0 -

Tried this mate with a few different DVDs, and all the audio_TS folders are empty!0 -
Re:Computer / Music / DVD query
Quite strange...
go here then and download the splitter software - it's either freeware or shareware, either way you'll getto use it for 30 days at least free of charge.
install it and RIP the audio from the DVD that way.
I can't test the software at the minute before telling you to download it because i'm at work right now - if you want to wait i'll d/l it tonight and tell you if its any good?0 -

Re:Computer / Music / DVD query
OH CRAP! I knew I had to do something last night! sorry mate, didn't d/l any software - just go to google and search for 'RIP Audio from DVD' and look through the results for anything that says Freeware or Shareware and download that and install it.
Once you've used it though, uninstall it as freeware and shareware like to put adware into their programs - won't cause serious risks in the short term but could lead to more serious if you leave it on....0 -
