Hi there

Can anyone help me please. How do you work out the variance as a percentage?

Thanks

    Re:Variance as a percentage

If this years sales were £160,000 and last year's £120,000 you would:

    (£160,000 - £120,000)/£120,000 * 100 = 33.33% increase on the previous year.

    Kind regards
    Steve

p.s. I'm not sure why this thread states nil replies! I'll PM Malcolm.
