Help!business & personal tax!

Hi. I am having major difficulties grasping the tax units and its so annoying because they are my last ones.Does anyone have any good revision tips etc?I am currently using the osbourne books does anyone know any others that might be more usefull?

    its just putting it all together. I think i know alot of the bits individually its just when it comes to doing past exam papers I find it hard to know what to do at what stage.For example when your dealing with partners coming in half way through, at what stage of the calculation do you time apportion?at the beginning or end of the calculation?thanks for the book recommendation i'll look into that.
