Re:pls help me in making decision
Hi Hetal,
I think it is down to the individual which is easy and which isn't!! Technician is a high level course so it shouldn't be easy anyway unless you are gifted!!
DFS is a compulsary unit, so you will have to do that one anyway. When you say Management Accounting, is that the Cash Management & Auditing Skills tests rather than the 2 tax exams?

Re:pls help me in making decision
Im pretty certain you have to do both. You can only choose 2 out of the following:
PTC - Personal Tax
BTC - Business Tax
OCMC - Operating Cash Management Control
IAP - Implementing Audit Procdeures
MAC is very similar to PEV, the syllabus is the same and you sit the same exam. Its called MAC for the people who are going through the Diploma path.0 -

Re:pls help me in making decisionso according to u MAC is better
I don't think that's what was being said. As I understand it, both Management Accounting and Drafting Financial Statements must be completed for the Diploma. If you're asking which to do first, I can say that I found PEV (the NVQ equivalent of MAC) to be easier than DFS. This may be because I found the Management Accounting more interesting rather than it actually being an easier unit. But you'll still have to do them both.
The only choice you have is which two out of the following three to do:
Implementing Audit Procedures
Personal Tax
Business Tax
Unless you actually work in Audit, the two Tax exams will be the most practical choice. I don't work in Audit, and bought the book with the intention of studying it alone. Without experience of the subject matter I can't see it working.
