help, task 1.1 of the Dec 03 morning DFS paper

Hi All

I found that best way of revising is to do past papers. I am doing DFS in June 07.

I am stuck on task 1.1 of DFS 2003 morning paper?
I have looked at the answers and they do not look very straight forward, task is asking to prepapre the consolidated bal sheet for parent and subsiduary.

Please let me know if you have practised on this one before and how you got your workings, I have been staring at the papers for the last 30 mins.....

    Hi,
    consolidated balance sheet is adding the parent combining the two acconut together after all the adjustment has been done.
