Hi all
Just wondering if anyone could help as i have struggled to attend any of my dfs lessons cus of one thing and another and now i am quite far behind
Would anyone have any tips on the subject and to make sure i pass in june any ideas of how to start the subject in the short time frame we have now 12 weeks i think it till exam week :?

I would say make sure you understand the mechanics behind consolidated balance sheets, cashflow statements and reconciliations, balance sheet & profit & loss accounts. These are the bulk of the exam and you will gain alot of marks from these. This will give you a good chance of passing your exam!!0 -

im using osbourne books at the minute would it be a good way to start by basically starting from scratch and working my way through?0 -

You are best looking at past papers and seeing what type of questions are used in the main, these areas need to be covered. I would revise all them area's and then try some questions from the question bank at the back this will show you how you are progressing. You will also have to learn the accounting standards so i would make notes on the main ones and take a look at them every day for about 30 mins. I am condfident that will help you get through the exam.0 -
