Am really busy at work, so I am staring out the window daydreaming. Anyone off on holiday this year?
Going to Florida in May then Spain with my mates in July
Although I am missing out on a good old fashioned British holiday

From Chickerick (something like that) to Sandbanks. Approx 78 miles over 3 days - the boys mad.
And yes most of it is by the sea so should be great if its blowing a gale!0 -

He's nearly 17 - he walked the whole of the Coastal Path (640 odd miles) two weeks after his 16 birthday last year - that was a real fun holiday (which happened to include my Honeymoon as well!0 -
Re:Holidays
Paul, Gran Canaria is great! But bear in mind when I was there in April between 11am and 5pm the temp never dropped below 32`c  and watch out for massive rocks in the sea (don't break your toe like I did).
I want to go on holiday
I'm thinking Greece. With my Mum and Dad's timeshare I only have to pay for flights

We are going to Lapland for the New Year, it means a flight on boxing day at an ungodly hour, I will probably scare a few kids at that time of the morning  but we are all really excited about it!0 -
Re:Holidays
What would everyone's ideal holiday destination be for this year?
I have to say I'd love to tour Asia: Japan, China, India, Qatar. Would be lovely.0 -

I've been reading Elizabeth Kostova's "the Historian", about a couple of Historians tracking the Dracula legend across Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria and its really made me want to visit that part of the world- Budapest in particular.0
