I am really finding this difficult, currently using Osborne Books, can anyone suggest another which could help me?<BR>Many thanks

    Hi Nicola,<BR><BR>We're using BPP books so not sure what Osborne books are like. The books aren't too bad and the lecturer is good but I'm the same as you......worried about remembering everything. Have you bought the Frank Woods Financial Accounting book? That has been a real help to me. It seems to go into more detail than the text books. There seems to be a lot to cram in this year. There was a lot I didn't understand fully in the reports and returns unit but I still managed to pass the skills test with no mistakes so that's saying something. I think we doubt ourselves too much and when it comes down to it we have learnt more than we think. <BR><BR>Stick with it and good luck!<BR><BR>Emma

    Sometimes it helps to have a look at another book to see the subject from a slightly different angle. I used Osbourne for Costing and Reports. The Reports side was fine, but Costing took more getting to grips with. This could be because the subject of variances requires quite a lot of practice to become familiarised. In the end plently of practise was the best method of 'absorbing' it all.<BR><BR>Regards Clive
