Hi All,

I'm struggling big time with a couple of the questions from this past paper. I can see the answers but no idea how they've been calculated. Hoping someone can help please:-

Q 1.2 a ii) refers to calculating mat price var in Uk pounds for Nov US purchase. I can see the Uk current price is .45 and the calculation for the answer is .45 - 0.5 but don't know where the 0.5 came from???

Q 2.2 b - How is the new ROCE 12.8%?

I know it's a bit long winded for Easter but hoping someone can help me muddle through.

    Q1.2 The 0.5 is the standard cost of the paper - if you have a look at the original data.
