I am desperately trying to get my AAT finished – project is in draft mode and being marked, all the exams are passed (yippee!) but I am having huge problems with Health and Safety. I was the last year to do intermediate at Old Standards, and then started Technician on new standards. I have H&S outstanding on my Technician statement of achievement, so what I wondered is would I be able to top it up from intermediate, or will I need to just re do the whole module? I have no worries about doing it either way, however my college (who shall remain nameless because they are so useless!) are now saying that all of my intermediate has to be topped up so that I can achieve my AAT and I don’t see how or why – any advice would be great!

    I also did Intermediate at old standards & technician on new. We did a top up for the H & S module, but it was done the following year. Not quite sure if there is a time element involved, which might be why your college are saying you now have to top up all your Intermediate. As you say don't know how you can just "top up" on the exams :?

    Edit: Its very rare, but I am sure I have heard of it being possible to only do technician level.

    Thanks - I'm glad that I’m not going crazy in wondering how the hell I’m supposed to top my exams up. Like you say, there are rare cases of people doing technician without intermediate or foundation before it, so surely they must just do the H&S module? Fingers crossed it works out okay! :?

    Anyone else been in this situation?
