Technician level

Could someone please tell me how many exams there are in the Technician level. Someone told me there are 6 and a Project which sounds like its going to be a very big step up from Intermediate level.
Would be good to here from anyone. Also would you recommend doing it over 1 year or 2.

    There are five exams and a project. Or you can do a portfolio instead of one exam. If you want more details I can give them, but just to answer your question, it is a big step up from intermediate, but if you organise your time, it is acheivable!

    If you are studying at college, you can opt for two years. This lessens the stress if you are affected.
    You can start as if you all doing everything in one year and then change to two years later on. The cost is the same.
    I am doing it over two years.

    Hi,

    NVQ Pathway,

    Dependant on what units you want to do, you must sit a minimum of 3 main exams, but if you do tax you can sit 5. There is a mixture of what you have to sit, of exams, devolved simulations (mini exams) and a project.

    The project in compulsary! (but is a good task to do)

    Our class did it in 8 months, one day per week.
