Hi Sandy

I just wonderd if you had any revison notes for PCT and BTC, we havent even started the units yet, we are due to start today for 7wks, I am rather concerned as it is only 8wks to our exams, do you think we will have enough time to cover everything??

I am also studying for DFSL (local gov) we still havent covered everything for this unit, and as there is no material to learn form its hard to study from home, do you have anything on this unit which may help?

    I'm sorry but my subject areas are cost and management accounting.

    I'm interested in your choice of exams, the two tax units and the local government financial statements unit.

    Has your college tutor given you any recommended reading?

    My colleague teaches tax on a number of courses. I am pretty sure she recommends the Osborne books. Unlike others, they are specifically for the AAT unit and are very readable.

    Are you studying full time? I hope so.

    I'm doing PTC & BTC but only one day a week. We started mid Jan and will probably finish in 2 weeks ready to start revision.

    Unless you're full time I think you'll struggle for time.

    No I only go to college 1 half day a week, we do PCT in the afternoon and BTC in the evening. Our lesson plan is to do one chapter per week but this leaves only one week for revision and as we wont have finished the units we cant really do full past papers at home, so we are just going to have to cross our fingers and pray that we have enough time and pass!!
