Trial balance

Due to ill health I have been unable to attend college. My tutor has arranged for me to sit the Unit 3 skills test during half term. However, I am struggling with trial balances. Is there an easy way to remember what goes where? If it is on the CR side of a T account will it be on the CR side of the trial balance? Any advice would be greatfully received. It's the only thing I have been really stumped on all year.

    Yes after you have balanced off the T accounts, the balances are extracted as they are 'sitting' in the T accounts.

    Thankyou. At least I now know that has sunk in. Not sure why I thought it was wrong.
