CPD for personal & business tax

I have been asked to do a couple of very simple tax returns, one of which is for a 2 person partnership, and I am happy to do so. However tax is not currently one of my listed services therefore I have to apply, giving details of training etc in the relevant areas. My tax training was as part of my aat course several years ago and I think relevant cpd should be sufficient, rather than siging up for tax courses.
Can anyone suggest suitable cpd options, whether books, cd-roms, elearning, anything is fine.
I know there is taxation.web but haven't come across anything else that seems right.

your local HMRC tax office will run basic courses for the self employed. They explain all the basics very clearly and provide relevant, up to date booklets and a contacgt within the tax office.
