Hello Could someone tell me the difference between batch costing and process costing. I saw an example on the forum of process costing which was making bread. But could you argue this is batch costing as you can for example make 10 loaves in one batch? Could you give me some definite egs of both.

Re:Costing
If you make 10 loaves of bread in a single batch that is batch production and would suit batch costing
If you have a continuous production line then use process costing
I've increased the size of the font in my earlier example so that you can see that my example is a batch costing example.
