Batch and process costing

Hello can someone tell me if making paint would be process or batch costing. In the monthly magazine it is shown as an example of batch cosing but my lecturer said it was an example of process costing??? Could somene show me the different routes each one would take in relation to having the overheads absorbed and working out the price per batch or unit? IS it always black and white which is process and which is batch and can the manufature of goods such as shoes or loaves of bread involve both at various stages of production?

No disrespect but it might be a better idea for you to wait until someone answers one of your other questions instead of to keep asking roughly the same one and starting a new thread each time since you now have four running simultaneously.
