Salary help

Hi guys just wondering if you could give me a little advice, I am due for a pay rise in the next month and was just wondering what you think is a suitable amount to ask for, I have nearly 3 years experience at this job and will be sitting my final AAT exams on the 18th of this month.

    Im on 12k at the moment and am from the west Midlands

    I have been looking at jobs the same as mine in the area and they range from anything between 16k - 20k but I don't know if thats too much of a jump from what Im on

    I am in the same area and I am surprised at your pay, that seems very poor.
    The trouble is, it is obviously your company that paying that rate, mine is well known for paying low.
    I don't think you would get as much as similar jobs (I would be searching elsewhere myself!).
    If you are going to stay put, I would see if they would pay £14k and they might agree on £13k.
    We just get an annual 3% payrise across the board regardless of qualifications.
