At the present moment, I am doing business tax, personal tax, a project on managing systems and people in the accounting environment and DFS, and have passed PEV and PCR. My tutor has given me the option of doing a simulation on cash management instead of the business tax, but i was wondering if it could replace any of the others. I can remember getting my exam results in Feb and it saying that you have to pass one out of a selection, one out of another selection etc, but cant remember which. So if i was to do the simulation, which ones could i take out and still get a pass?

    PEV, PCR, DFS and Unit 10 - the project - are all mandatory units. In addition, you need to do at least two from any of the following four;

    PTC - personal tax
    BTC - business tax
    CMCC (Cash management and credit control)
    Audit

    The first two have proper exams while the latter two I think are both tested by simulations only.

    So the short answer is, out of the ones you are doing, you can only replace BTC or PTC with either CMCC or Auditing. Or you could replace both the former 2 with both the latter 2. Depends if you need tax or not and which your college are willing to teach you (sounds like just CMCC).
