Hello all,

Some advice would be welcomed on the best way in terms of minimising fees and maximising exchange rates when making foreign payments

At the moment my client uses a non-bank international payment service - I am sure there must be ways that I can demonstrate savings by other means ?

Many thanks

If you are making regular payments in a particular currency then it may be beneficial to set up a foreign currency bank account. All the high street banks offer this service but there will of course be a fee involved.

Thanks Dean. I have set up a euro account which is working well. What I am trying to achieve is maximising the exchange rate - I am talking about reasonable sums of money which make it worth spending time getting a good deal - it's where to get the good deal that I lack experience in, there is a danger that I will whittle away the benefits by going around in circles

Am I making life overly complicated for myself ?
