Just a quick query - does anyone know whether we are allowed to be provided with any scrap paper in the exams? I know that AAT require all workings to be completed in the answer booklet but is there any reason why we can't ask for a scrap of paper for our random scribbles that we do not wish to be marked? :?:

As far as I'm aware everything has to go in the answer booklet and you should cross out anything you don't want looked at. Just one of those petty and slightly annoying rules we have to live with.

theres is usually blank pages dotted about the exam paper you could always use these and just cross through it after so that they dont mark it but workings to the answer you are giving are important to be left available to get as many marks as possible

The general rule is just make sure you cross through anything you don't wish to be marked.

i used the question booklet for some 'informal' workings and transfer final answers and workings in answer booklet.
