Hi
I know it is a bit late.

I have been doing revision from the BPP unit 19 PTC (FA 2003) good for Dec 2004. (home study ehh ;) did not have time to finish it off then )

I know the rates and bands have changed for 2006/2007. I got no problem with that.

--- Is there any NEW element included in PTC since FA 2003 I should be aware of??

----Any changes in Pesion computation etc??

Any feedback would be appreciated.

    I am revising for PTC too.

    Not sure of the any changes really as only studied the current book.

    One that comes to mind is to do with benefits in kind for computers provided to employees for private use - it used to be not assessable (until 2005/06) if worth under £2500. Now any value is assessable.

    Beneficial Loans - if the loan outstanding is £5,000 or less then there will be no assessable benefit.(This might not be different to what was in Dec 04)


    Not sure if there are any others, but if you have any ones you want to check I will try to help.
