How hard was PCR?????

Did anyone think PCR was going to be as hard as this one? This was loads harder than the past papers, i spent most my time thinking PEV would be harder and actually found this one miles harder!! for once the writing questions were ok, but found some of the calculation questions harder than expected! def think i might have to resist this one!! :cry:

    I got so confused on section 1, i wrote down so many calculations and answers i got completely lost!

    All of my group found it much harder than expected.

    yep same here so did my group, everyone had made mistakes! missed bits out etc, not good!!

    Same here, i never thought it was going to be that hard :( went in thinking i can do the past papers, so this should be fine, How wrong was i!?! :cry:

    same with our group. last monday almost everyone is finished long before the time. but this morning loads of students were still at the room nearly minutes before the time. loads of computations and at the same time deep thinking on how to do them right. got a headache afterwards...

    a couple of us got headache too lol ive left negitive feedback for that exam i think it wasnt fair, much harder!!

    I seem to be the only person round here that thought it was OK. I'm wondering if I missed something :?

    Thank goodness someone else thought it was ok! I did too but didnt want to say first for fear of being burnt at the stake! :wink: This exam has taken a bit of a ribbing!

    I'm glad a couple of ppl thought it was okay, I was really worried about it going in and when I was in there I flew through it. I was a bit worried about one question in section one and I had a panic attack after finishing it that I had done the wrong thing but got home and checked it and felt fine about the whole thing.

    Same too, for good 15 minutes reading time I was struggling and thinking about question one which has to be correct, if i get it wrong every other questions are wrong. I sufferred panic attack.
    After the sales forcast calculations I was fine.

    Section two was ok, but don't know where to post the stepped costs. In variables or with the fixed cost- flexed buget.

    i posted it as variable cost for it also depends on sales increment. confusing this was and i havent seen this in past papers.

    both exams were demanding on time, and both left me with a headache, DFS was difficult and the reports for both PCR and DFS are always hard. The calculations are tricky especially if you get one wrong and have to use that figure in the report knowing its wrong its difficult but you just gotta show all your working and hope that you can at least get method marks and not the accuracy if you do mess up

    did you find it hard to have enough time to include all your workings written down and still get all questions done?

    thats kinda the problem, writing all the workings etc, but if you get the answer wrong but have the right workings then you lose accuracy marks but still get method marks.

    In fairness it is possible to pass these exams, its just a really tiring once you do because of the amount of work/pressure.
