Hi everyone,

Just a quick question really, I wanted to know if any additional books were really necessary apart from the books from your college/distance learning provider. I have the books for the course from the FTC but wondered if I would need to buy any extra, for example any of the Frank Wood books?

Thanks

I don't know how good the FTC books are, but I'd say you'd probably be OK with the books you have. I've just finished (I hope) Technician and I've never looked at the Frank Woods books.

I have, though, always supplemented the BPP books supplied by the college with Osborne textbooks but that's mainly because the BBP books aren't that wonderful and I often found that having two explanations was useful for areas I was finding hard. I wouldn't have said that was really necessary though and most of my classmate have managed fine with just what we were provided with.

Don't forget there's a second-hand books forum on here, so if you do feel the need you can always find people selling old text books and libraries can be useful too.

    Hi Wendy

FTC books are very comprehensive and the only thing you should need are the past papers that you get on the AAT website.

    Best of luck
