If someone has been made redundant say June 14th and is given one month's pay in lieu of notice.
To be paid up till the end of the month plus the pay in lieu of notice, at the end of the month. The actual redundancy pay being paid separately.
For the sake of the P45 and the letter going out with the redundancy pay (showing how it has been calculated) What day would you class as the leaving day?
Our Accountants deal with our wages, they have sent the P45 with leaving date as 30th of June. I am left to sort the dedundancy part, with regards to the letter going with it I was going to state term of employment - date started to week ending 14 July.
