    If you mean the consolidated balance sheet and consolidated income statement then you need to learn both. Usually the balance sheet comes up as it's more difficult but then they throw a spanner in the works by putting in an income statement.

    By the way at technician you use international standards and a profit and loss account is called the income statement.
