Hi

I am about to start Technician level via distance learning & was wondering if anyone has any thoughts about the best order in which to study the modules or the best combinations of modules?

My only thought so far is that doing PTC & BTC together may be beneficial. Is this right???

Ideally i'd like to get all of the exam based modules completed over two exam sittings.

I have scoured the internet looking for some sort of guidance about this but there doesn't seem to be anything. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, i'd be most grateful!

Kind Regards,
Sarah (Confused!)

hi, we covered pcr & pev from sept and sat in december. i found learning these 2 units worked well together. we then covered dfs & btc from feb and sat in june, again i enjoyed doing these 2 units together. personally i don't know if i could tackle ptc & btc together as i think i would probably get the rules/bands mixed up and confused, which i successfully managed to do with btc on its own having to deal with the differences between capital gains and corporation tax.

I did PTC and BTC in June. Our tutor recommended June as if by chance you fail one the resit in December would be in the same Financial Year, i.e. same rates.

I did DFS and MAC (Diploma route) in December. That was tough.
