Hi there

Can anyone tell me if aP38 should be submitted.

Situ:

Employed earning less than 5225 both term time & holidays tax code being used in this employment.

Second job would you submit a p38 for this
Form states that i have no employment except during holidays,but student already has a job.
An allowance split wouldnt be worth it as student may just fall into tax bracket.
How is this to be dealt with?

    P38s only used if employed in any job during the holidays NOT term time.
    This applied to my student daughter last summer. She also had more than one job, afraid it was a matter of biting the bullet and paying the tax. I'm in the process of reclaiming it back.

    I hope my understanding is correct, as already employed not eligle to fill in a p38 for second job even though the second job is working hol time only??.
