BTC & PTC?

Hi,

I'm going to be doing DFS but I'm trying to decide which other exam to take. Are BTC & PTC hard? Would it be too hard to take both with DFS? The local FTC is running all three courses in the evening until Dec. I'm sure next year both BTC & PTC will end up being day release classes (which I'll have ot use holidays for). I suppose I can always do implementing audit procedures in Jan instead.

    Hi raeble,

    I have just finished technician level and all being well, will have passed! I did both PTC and BTC together, you can study this yourself at home like I did. It's hard work and you do have to put the time in, but as long as you're aware of this before you should have no problem. I also did the cash management unit, so didn't have to stress too much when the exams came due to only having to pass one. Unsure if this was a wise move, no results yet :shock:
    Also I would suggest to sit the tax exams in June and then you can always re-sit under the same tax rules for the December exams, therefore you won't have to buy new books, if the worst happens. Sorry if this is a bit rambling but I'm tired now. Hope all goes well for you.
