Can someone please help? I keep seeing this on jobs that I am otherwise eligible to apply for, but I don't know what this term means, let alone if I can do it!

    Re:Intrastate reporting?

Intrastat is the method of collecting information and statistics on the movement of goods between member states of the EU.

You fill in supplementary declarations from HMRC if the value of your trade within the EU approaches or exceeds £260,000 in a period.

    Kind regards

It's a long time since I did them but if I remember rightly they were pretty straight forward.

    Kind regards

    Re:Intrastate reporting?

Intrastat reporting is relatively straightforward. You have to give a commidity code for goods, value in ££ even if the invoice is EUROS, delivery terms usually stated on the invoice ,nett mass, maybe another supplementry unit i.e. sq mtrs, origin of goods, traders ref i.e invoice number.

This is the website with info on it.

I do my Intrastats every month, so in August I will report July figures.

You will have no problem doing the Intrastate - I did them each month online in my previous employment and they where very straight forward.

    Re:Intrastate reporting?

Thanks everyone! That does all sound quite straight-forward, so hopefully the fact I don't have experience in them will not count against me (fingers crossed I get an interview!).
