Re:Results
come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!
I am so sick of waiting, surely they can mark these things faster and get us the results quicker than this????
it just seems like ages,
well, sorry for the moan thats coming but i feel so frustrated and feel a bit lost now as to where to go next.
even if i have passed the aat, i have no expereince in a practice and no one wants to know on the job front. im underexperienced and over qualified apparently.
The lady at my recruitment agency said she has just got a girl with a first degree into a training contract and the pay was only 10k, seems like we are going to have to start from the bottom again!
I have spent the past four years of my life learning book-keeping and accounts thinking there would be a chance of earning decent money at the end of it. yet the jobs im applying for are less than i used to earn as an admin clerk many moons ago.
i feel a bit long in the tooth to be doing it all again.
Anyone else feel like they dont seem to be getting anywhere?!

I am in the same boat, I have lots of finance experience, but not at the right level.
But I can't get a job at my current level as I am AAT qualified. I don't know if I'd be offered 10k, but I can't afford to be paid that low!
And I need a job as I am redundant in 7 weeks.0 -
Re:Results
Hi,
Im currently halfway through techician and was told by my tutor I should change jobs to get experience but I have a well paid job for a boss that lets us go as we please as long as the work is completed and I get good bonus's that my friend dont get.
I started this course because I wanted to make sure I had back up if anything ever happened here (like the boss retired and finished the company)not because my life depended on me completing it.
Good luck in finding work that pays well and in something you enjoy doing, they dont come around very often hence the reason im staying put but continuing learning.

Re:Results
Hi, unfortunately I am in the same position as well. I am awaiting my final technician results, but can't find a job. I am hoping that when I go onto ACCA that it will stand me in a better position but I have a feeling that it's not going to.
I can't afford to take a wage cut at the moment, but no one seems to want to offer more than £12000. Another reason to
