Has anyone tried to claim this when using FBI?
I did a terminal loss relief a couple of years ago, but submitted it with supporting schedules by post.
Can I just put the figures in boxes 23.9 or 3.116 - ie what I am trying to say (I think!) is do they actually look at anything put in the additional info boxes, or is just sucked into the computer and left there

In my experience, sucked in and ignored!
I had to chase up by phone afterwards when the refund wasn't issued.
I have since been told that the additional information is rarely read, let alone entered into HMRC's computer.
A box is merely ticked on their software to say that there was something entered in the additional information box!0 -
