What software to use?

Can anyone recommend which software is the best value to use for bookkeeping for sole traders? It needs to be one that allows more than one company to be set up on the software

    Really? Do I just need to devise some spreadsheets then? I already have them for income and expenses but thought I should be using something like sage or quickbooks

    A simple cash book on Excel is all I used to use for my husband's bookkeeping.

    I now use Sage to keep track of his debtors and creditors. Have a loook on the MIP forum - there is a thread on there re starting up. If I was really clever I'd put the link on for you!
