Hello

I have just completed the intermediate level and will be starting the technician in September. I found the Osbourne books really helpful at intermediate level and was wondering which books people would recommend at technician and if indeed anyone had used the Osbourne books which ones they used. (I'm not sure which books cover which modules!)

Many thanks

    I've always used the Osborne books too and if you're happy with them, why change?

    The link below will show you the books required for Technician level;

    However, I would advise NOT buying any of the taxation books yet until you know which exam you'll be sitting and when. If you intend sitting in December 2007 you'll need the 2006/07 ones but be warned - you'll only get one shot at this exam due to annual changes in tax rates! If it's June next year, you'll need the 2007/08 editions written for the latest Finance Act which will allow you one resit in December 2008 were you to fail the June 2008.

    For the others, try the Books For Sale Forum on here next week. People will then know if they've passed or failed their exams and whether they need to keep their books a little longer or not!

    Regards,

    Robert
