Hi,
Just wondered if any of you knew about this £135.00 exemption fee being charged for every person transferring from AAT to ACCA because I didn't!

Re:AAT-ACCA exemption fee
Hi
What I know is that you pay exemption fee for every paper you get exemption for. And the fee as you would pay in normal situation for sitting in exam.
So for the F1,F2 and F3 it would be 3x£45=£135
and this is on the top of your ACCA registration fee.

The exemption fee is the same as the exam fee.

Sounds like a con to me...do they charge exemption fees for ACA as well?0 -
Re:AAT-ACCA exemption fee
By the sounds of it the ACA do also charge exemption fees. I suppose it's one way of generating revenue. If the cost it passed onto the employer, it doesn't matter eitherway

Re:AAT-ACCA exemption fee
It's been that way for a long time, I think with all professional bodies you have to pay for your exemptions - it hits hard but we've all had to do it!

Yep, CIMA is exactly the same, you spend 3 years doing the AAT whacked with their charges so that you are then charged when you go up to Uni level :shock:0
