Re:Avatar
But those poor farmers that were in tears because of their herds being slaughtered - they didn't look to good on it.
I know some of my friends here are involved in farming and their cattle are worth more to them alive than dead. They would be devastated if they had to have them slaughtered.0 -

Can I come and have a laugh too, please Jamie?19051984 wrote:If I was a gazillionaire, I would have the biggest mansion filled with rescue dogs - no pedigrees - all mongrels and once a week I'd let a cat loose in the grounds
I suppose at a push, I could like a cat as long as it was "turned into a dog" through training.

Re:Avatar
I have had cats and dogs over the years and I much prefer cats.
My cat has never ever walked on any worktops (YUCK) and I dont have a litter tray.
She meows when she wants to go out much like a dog would bark, she has food at certain times of the day and she know it and doesnt beg for food like some dogs do....oh and thank god I dont have to take her for walks.
Only problem the flaming thing will only do its business in our garden and in one spot.....training to crap in next doors just isnt working  Ill keep trying though0 -
Re:Avatar
Like K8 I have a cat who thinks she's a dog!
She meows when she wants something, runs to the door when the post comes, runs up to us when we get home, eats at the same times as us (as do my parrots!). Although she does have a litter tray and won't lower herself to go elsewhere!!!! And back to her "dogginess" - she also tries to come for walkies when I take my son out in the buggy!! I let her follow so far, then she gets taken (or chased, depending on my mood! ) back home!
I don't know who expects more - her or my 10 month old son! :roll:0 -
Re:Avatar
OMG! Batfink (the cat) has just topped herself! My hubby and I were outside swapping over cars and a guy walked down the street with his 2 dogs - one looked like a lurcher and the other was the size of a jack russel. The next thing we saw was a small hissing black furball come flying out from under our side gate after the dogs! :-o The guy managed to hold them back, but he did struggle! I chased her back under the gate so she didn't get killed, but 2 seconds later she was back out in kill mode!!!! Crazy puss-dog!
