Just received a P2(new) notice of coding...
They state the rates at which tax will be deducted:-
10% £2230
22% £32370
40% £39825
Basic rate band = £34600 i.e. the total of the 10% & 22%. Where are the Revenue getting the 40% £39825 figure from?
Regards
Dean

Looks like someone in need of a large coffee and a holiday. Never mind, Dean, we all have bad days!0 -
Re:Must be having a 'moment'...
Dean - you are very brave not to have deleted this once you had realised your doh moment.
So glad that other people are blonde like me

Re:Must be having a 'moment'...
Well - that's another word I now know how to spell properly

Claudia
PS - how are things going both of you Dean's? I think that I am reasonably chilled about getting everything done by 31st Jan - but yet to work out if I am up or down on this time last year - and even spoke to someone helpful at HMRC last week

In a word... hectic!
As is always the case when I come back from holiday, maybe I just shouldn't come back!

Exactly the same here. Just come back from a week off and my brain's still trying to adjust.
...not to mention my ATT finals in six weeks!

Re:Must be having a 'moment'...
Also, why is it when you have some time off you always come back to a client that has had a 'major' problem to deal with and your are made to feel like you shouldn't have taken the time off!
