Just received a P2(new) notice of coding...

They state the rates at which tax will be deducted:-

10% £2230
22% £32370
40% £39825

Basic rate band = £34600 i.e. the total of the 10% & 22%. Where are the Revenue getting the 40% £39825 figure from?

    PS - how are things going both of you Dean's? I think that I am reasonably chilled about getting everything done by 31st Jan - but yet to work out if I am up or down on this time last year - and even spoke to someone helpful at HMRC last week :shock:

    Exactly the same here. Just come back from a week off and my brain's still trying to adjust.

    ...not to mention my ATT finals in six weeks!

    Also, why is it when you have some time off you always come back to a client that has had a 'major' problem to deal with and your are made to feel like you shouldn't have taken the time off!

    I wondered that too :? but life too short to worry about it - maybe I am just pushy??

    Maybe the emails are working is because Malcolm is back from his holidays as well - did the three of you all go away together :shock:

    How come Claudia's message arrived after Deans but is shown earlier? I was notified of Deans first. This site is getting wierder by the second, bit like Sunday night!
